Gray wool flannel lined in heavy cotton twill, with a burgundy velvet dickie and waist trim, plus decorative burgundy soutache trim on the bodice and cuffs of the jacket. \u003cbr\u003e\nThe long sleeved jacket has puffed sleeves ending in dramatic curved cuffs and has nine metal stays sewn to the inside.  There are hooks along the inside waist of the jacket that correspond to small thread eyes sewn along the skirt waist so nothing shows underneath. It helps create a high-waisted effect, as the jacket is short in length. The jacket has had some of its closing hooks and eyes moved (not by us) so that it can fit a size larger than originally intended.  The interior cotton closure in this size becomes unnecessary.  Take 2 inches off the bust and waist if you wish to convert it back to the original. \u003cbr\u003e\nThe skirt is comprised of five panels and is quite full at the hem, measuring about 128\".  We shot it with no petticoat but it can take a full one. See the photo of the back to notice the vertical pleat over the hook and eye closure, giving it fullness where a small bustle could reside.
