1920s Seersucker Dress / 20s Deadstock Seersucker Floral Cotton and Paper Costume Party Dress / Size Small

This rare 1920’s costume party dress is an unusual find for us. Made of cotton seersucker in a whimsical floral pattern, and adorned with streamers of bright yellow crepe paper. A panel of striped pink seersucker makes up the middle of the dress’s front. Features puff sleeves with gathering at banded cuffs, an empire waist with matching ties at sides for a slight adjustment to fit, and crew neckline. The yellow crepe paper cascades down the front of the dress, decorates the neckline and yoke, and falls in tiers down the skirt to the hem. Comes with a matching yellow crepe paper pointed cap which is finished with pink and green florettes, and has two long paper ribbons streaming from the back.
