~ Authentic 1930s dust bowl era dress. Fabric feels like silk or rayon, or a blend.
~ Sourced from a ranch that persevered through the dust bowl. The family modified their clothing to fit succeeding generations. We think this dress is originally from the 1920s. The hem of this dress was taken all the way down and buttons were added in the 30s.
~ Small black and white grain print.
~ Curved V- neckline edged in white.
~ Dramatic ruffled capelets at the shoulders cover long sleeves with a contrasting hem.
~ Two buttons down the front. One is faux, one has a snap behind, as well as a snap at the top of the bodice for over-the-head slip on.
~ Fitted waist.
~ A little flutter in the skirt.
