1950s rich chocolate brown silk cocktail dress. This dress has designer hallmarks with only a union label left inside. Jet black beading and cording create leaves and dangle balls on the beautifully fitted bodice. Wide neckline with a center front split. Elbow length gusseted raglan sleeves. A full bell shaped skirt that is enhanced with several seams, creating that classic "Dior New Look" silhouette. Custom bias ribbon waist with a small bow in the back. Painted back metal zipper along with hooks and eyes for closure. Lined in matching taffeta, some hand stitching, and other quality interior details. Shown with petticoat not for sale.
