A glorious beauty in black lace, this dress from the 1950’s has the most fabulous silhouette. The fully boned bodice has a gathered chiffon neckline with cord trim, and full length lace sleeves. The extra full skirt is made of black lace, which leads to another tier of gathered chiffon backed with a horsehair stiffener, and finishes in lace ruffled hem. The skirt also features an additional under-layer of black silk net, and an underskirt of black taffeta for magnificent volume. Three attached pink satin bows peek from beneath the lace, and an extra-wide stiffener gives structure to the taffeta underskirt. Side metal zipper.
