1950s Gown / 50s White Gown With Train / Embroidered Stars / 1950s Cotton Long Dress / Embroidered Flower Print Dress / Size Small

Late 1950s white cotton gown embroidered in white star flowers with swirled couching done in a weaved-in coral-red thread. Attached coral-red sash on the waist that wraps around the back in a bow (we pinned the ends of the bow to the dress but it is actually loose - could easily be tacked down) . The surprise in the back is a pleated train in matching coral-red. The sides of the dress have long deep pleats that extend over the train (see photo) -all done to enhance the curved shape of the skirt. At the interior of the waist there is a small 4 1/2" built in crinoline to also emphasize this shape. Back painted metal zipper and a hook and eye for closure.
