~ Amazing 1950s deep chocolate brown velvet suit.
~ Large picture collar with an attached brown pleated silk taffeta bow.
~The bow's "tails" loosely curve down to the sides, disappear under two vertical seams and reappear at the sides below the bust line, giving the jacket a fitted look.
~ Bracelet length sleeves.
~ Button down front with brown faceted glass buttons and fabric loops for closure.
~ Neckline and waist are lined in taffeta. The lower lining of the jacket is placed to help it flair our at the hips.
~ Straight pencil skirt with a side zipper and hook and eye for closure.
~ Soft rayon velvet with a slightly stiff backing gives it shape.
