A gorgeous two-piece ensemble from the catalogue heyday of J .Peterman, this 1980’s set is made of luxurious silk in a rich navy blue. The top has elaborate black glass beading in a floral motif up the front, which is echoed at sleeve cuffs. Full sleeves end in a deep cuff with a ruffled edge. Numerous black decorative buttons lead up the front to a stand collar, and the silhouette is accentuated with shoulder pads. The back has deep vents and pleats for a wonderfully tailored look, with more dangling beaded clusters — clasically Victorian in its styling.

The full length skirt is made of the same rich navy silk. Gathering at waist lead to a voluminous fullness. A built-in tulle crinoline adds additional structure. Side zipper.
